How to teach a 4-year-old

Touch your child’s nose (ਨੱਕ) gently and say “ਨ … ਨੱਕ”. They’ll get it instantly because n matches “no”, “nose”, “new” — words they already use. Other ਨ words: ਨਦੀ (nadi — river), ਨਾਨੀ (nani — maternal grandma), ਨਾਨਕ (Nanak — as in Guru Nanak Dev Ji).
