How to teach a 4-year-old
Pretend to gallop like a horse (ਘੋੜਾ) and say “ਘ … ਘੋੜਾ” with each stride. The gh sound is unusual in English so it takes a bit of practice. Other ਘ words: ਘਰ (ghar — home), ਘੜੀ (ghadi — clock).
