Week 8 · Living it together · Day 56

Week 8 — Sikhi is lived in community

This week we explored Sangat — the community — at the heart of Sikh life. From the harvest joy of Vaisakhi to the martial energy of Hola Mohalla, from the quiet reverence of a Gurdwara to the joyful procession of a Nagar Kirtan, we saw the same truth repeated: Sikhi is not practised alone. The Gurdwara’s four doors, the langar that feeds all, the calendar that marks shared days of remembrance — all of it points outward, toward other people, toward service, toward belonging. As this week closes, the invitation is simple: find your community, show up, and let Sikhi be lived together.

Today's idea

Vaisakhi, Gurpurabs, Hola Mohalla, the Gurdwara, Nagar Kirtan — Sikhi is not a private faith. It is always shared, always in community.

Pick two or three — there's no wrong way to do a day.
